Warranty and Other Perks
24-Month Warranty
Every Summit One comes standard with a full 2-year warranty covering all core components — indoor chamber, outdoor condenser, refrigerant line set, control electronics, sensors, and software. No hidden clauses or surprise exclusions.
The hermetically sealed compressor carries a separate 5-year warranty — the longest compressor guarantee in its class. North Peak Wellness stands behind their sealed system because it is built the same way commercial refrigeration has worked reliably for decades.
For continued coverage beyond year 2, North Peak Wellness offers an extended plan at $500/month, providing full parts and labor coverage plus priority access to their U.S.-based support team.
Direct Factory Pricing
You're benefiting from the Manufacturer's Recommended Price (MRP), which is a pricing structure established by the manufacturer to ensure fairness and transparency for customers.
With this MRP, you can rest assured that there are no additional markups involved, guaranteeing a straightforward and cost-effective pricing approach for your benefit.
Free Air Freight
Cryotherapy machines are typically shipped by air from our warehouses to the nearest airport and then taken by trucks to the place where they'll be installed.
The cost of this transportation usually ranges from $1,000 to $4,000, depending on where you're located, the time of year, and the availability.
When you finalize your purchase, you'll get a 100% discount on the air freight expenses. So, you'll only have to cover the transportation costs from the airport to your installation site.
Free Installation
Installing the unit and providing training will require a team of one to two technicians for a period spanning one to three days.
Usually, the technicians charge $500 per day each. The total cost typically falls between $1,000 and $5,000 for this service.
Under this deal, there you won't won't be charged for the technicians themselves. You'll only be responsible for covering the expenses related to transportation and accommodation.
Please be aware that the benefits associated with this offer can only be redeemed upon the successful completion of your order.
To clarify, paying the initial deposit and subsequently canceling the order will not grant you access to the warranty and additional perks included in this deal. (If you’re wondering if it really happened… yep, it did!)
Our Experts' Review
About the Manufacturer
North Peak Wellness was started in 2011 in Boulder, Colorado, by Jake Merritt and Ryan Olsen — a former NCAA Division I head athletic trainer and a mechanical engineer who spent a decade at Carrier designing commercial HVAC systems. They met while retrofitting recovery rooms for a Colorado university athletic program and kept running into the same problem: expensive cryotherapy chambers that broke down mid-season.
Their fix was AlpineCore™ — a hermetically sealed dual-stage compressor platform adapted from commercial refrigeration, where sealed systems run for a decade without a service call. No field-serviceable refrigerant circuits. No annual recharging. No slow-leak performance decay. Just consistent cold, every day, for years.
North Peak Wellness designs every chamber in Boulder and assembles them in Fort Collins, Colorado. The compressor units are sourced from a German manufacturing partner with engineering roots dating back to 1988. Every Summit unit leaves the factory after a 72-hour thermal stress test.

Delivery Path
The Summit One is a split-system design: the indoor chamber and the outdoor condenser ship as two separate units connected by a pre-charged refrigerant line set.
The indoor unit measures 88"(W) × 56"(D) × 90"(H) and weighs 1,450 lbs. The outdoor condenser measures 42"(L) × 16"(D) × 50"(H) and weighs 395 lbs. Door swing size: 35".
Installation requires a single wall penetration (4" core drill) for the refrigerant line set — two insulated copper lines with quick-connect fittings. No brazing, no vacuum pump, no specialized tools. Maximum line set distance: 40 feet, with up to 25 feet of vertical rise. Most setups are completed in 2–4 hours.
Technical Expertise
Installation is handled by a North Peak-certified installer at no additional charge. Unlike some systems that require licensed HVAC contractors, the Summit One uses a standardized quick-connect line set that any trained installer can complete in a single visit. You are responsible for covering transportation and accommodation expenses for the installer only.
Frequently Asked Questions
How cold does the Summit One get?
The Summit One reaches a real -93°F (adjustable range -22°F to -93°F) using AlpineCore™ dual-stage hermetically sealed refrigeration. Thanks to the WindTech™ airflow feature, the perceived temperature inside the chamber feels like -175°F — the deepest perceived cold in its class.
What does hermetically sealed refrigeration mean?
The compressor and refrigerant lines are permanently welded shut at the factory — the same way a household refrigerator is sealed. You will never need to refill refrigerant, schedule HVAC service for recharging, or worry about slow leaks degrading performance. The sealed compressor carries a 5-year warranty.
Do I need an HVAC contractor for installation?
No. Installation is handled by a North Peak-certified installer in 2–4 hours. The system uses pre-charged quick-connect refrigerant lines — no brazing, no vacuum pump, no specialized tools. You only need a standard 220V/30A outlet indoors and an outdoor-rated outlet for the condenser.
How loud is the indoor unit?
Under 48 dBA — quieter than a normal conversation. The compressor sits in the external condenser outside your building, so all noise and heat are rejected outdoors. Self-contained units typically run at 62–70 dBA indoors.
What are the ZoneControl™ intensity modes?
Three pre-calibrated profiles: Recovery (-22°F to -40°F, gradual ramp — ideal for first-timers), Performance (-40°F to -70°F, moderate ramp — post-workout recovery), and Competition (-70°F to -93°F, rapid ramp — athletes and deep tissue). Operators can also create up to 5 custom profiles.
